Rat-riffic, rat-cellent Lunar new year!
A friend sent me a new year wish that went something like this: May Ratatouille brings you abundance good food and may the Rat year brings you laughter, happiness and optimism. Yes, you may have guessed, 2008 is the year of the rat. Forecast have said that this year is a good one for the diplomatic snake (ahem) and I do hope it will be a rat-riffic and rat-cellent new year.
In the usual family reunion dinner last night, we had the Yue Sang (raw fish) and 8 dishes of great food. This time around, I brought along a box of fortune cookies. Everyone took a cookie after dinner and such fun and laughter it was to read the messages. Though random, almost everyone agreed that the message they got were significant to something or somepart of their lives at the present moment. Read mine below.
