It’s a “matte matte” world

So much about digital matte painting these days… I’ve got to be “matte” not to matte paint. It’s indeed a matte matte world…

Composition at work II

As promised, the sequel to composition at work. This time, it is typography and composition. The studio was turned into a sea of mess, paper and magazines everywhere. Yet, the session yielded very creative results. *clap clap* to all my students.

Eggies

Whether it is sunny side up, scrambled or hard-boiled… I love eggs. So much so that ‘eggies’ became a significant theme for a moonlighting project a year or two ago. Having done so many egg-cellent and egg-citing graphics of these eggies, I painted two of my favourite onto canvas. Presenting the eggies… *clap clap*

Composition at work

It’s my second trimester coordinating MMF1123 Beta. What I love most about Beta is all the fun and freedom of design and animation, without 3D. In this class, students explore composition the “handy” way before finalizing the design in the computer. Here are some snapshots of the recent “composition” workshop. Watch this space, composition workshop part II coming soon…
