There seems to be a lot of traffic coming to my bead crosses posts. If you are here by accident or you have gotten here by search, I bid you hello
. I would love to hear from any of you who also bead crosses. I must confess I have not done any crosses thus far…it’s been a busy month. For now, I would just put up a picture of a cross I made using Czech glass beads some time ago. A little rounder, friendlier perhaps than the sharp edged Swarovski bicones.

It’s been a busy week. Just finished with my beading project for a charity sales coming up next week. It’s a CSR project undertaken by a company to raise funds for a shelter of old folks and orphans this Christmas. To make merry the mugs and food stuff, I am participating in the fund raising with my beads. Not quite sure if they will sell well but a little something is better than none. Here are some pictures and a beaded cross for me, myself and I. *winks*

There’s so much buzz about swarovski crystals lately. So I thought it would be fun to experiment my cross design with it. Here’s an evolved version of my beaded cross design. A little less funky than its primitive, tad refined elegance that speaks of a cross within a cross concept. I have done a variety of colours for these, unfortunately, this is the only one I have recorded in picture…

One of the first few things I made when I started beading was that of a cross. To spare you the agony, I won’t show you the first prototype as it was a disaster and utter failure. Ha ha. Anyhow, after that I got hold of some proper materials and bead parts which resulted to this first cross design. Though I have made many different designs following that first attempt, this is still my favourite. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find back the same beads I have used (the aquamarine blue ones..) consequently I have not produced anymore of this. Fully hand-made with wire, the drawback is that the cross can bend. So handle with care.
