The other day on TV, was a movie called “Inspector Gadget”. Heh, brings me back to good old childhood days. I remember the Inspector Gadget cartoon and it was one of my favourites then, apart from Care Bears, Smurf and what nots. The movie wasn’t to my liking though, somehow. I haven’t done any design work lately, but since I am at the topic of Inspector, I’ve got something done many many months back which was inspired by the subject. Just a still. Just an impression.
Just a poster
Was given this title to work on some months ago. Sexuality! Hmm..daunting. Forum on SEXUALITY?! Hmm..doubly worrying. How can I portray this event in poster – comically? seriously? fun and easy? I couldn’t decide, which led to a few days of research and thinking. Finally this was what I came up with, you be the judge!
Pegs of love
I was at the flea market last weekend. There is a stall which I frequently patronize, they sell loose pendants from broken earrings, chains or bracelets. Sounds like junk but there are gems to be found in such stalls. I was looking for butterflies for a decorative wooden pegs project for a dear friend’s party. I found several butterfly pendants there though not many. Below are pictures of the pendants I got put on the wooden pegs. The other embellishments are ribbons and flower beads.
Bangles-galore
Wanting to rid the loose beads I have in my bead box, I took some time out for beading of these bangles.

matched and worn individual, two or in three.

Relativism
A friend will be delivering a talk on Relativism this month. Got this poster done for his talk. Had a nasty prat fall from my attic staircase just before I sat down to work on this piece. What a painful reminder of the war on truth. Ouch!

Hatful of goodies
A favour most suitable for the “Gone with the Wind” era. This was a wedding favour from a wedding my parents attended. It opens up to candies and mint. Lovely. Definitely a well made one, and definitely a handful of work required.

Bernadette’s
Alas, my first poster for the year. It’s for the screening of Bernadette, the movie. Join me?
